We are the masters of the mould!

The reason you are viewing this page is that you have successfully completed the fungal nail treatment. We are in control of the fungi, and you are slowly getting your beautiful nails back.

We know that this has not been an easy journey; you have to put in a lot of effort. Learning protocols, treatments, dripping nails, treating shoes, and being consistent so that spores have no chance of infecting you again.

So here’s a round of applause for yourself!

AFTERCARE Keep your feet healthy and fungus-free

Fungal nail protocols

The nails are now free of fungus and we would like to keep it that way. This means that the protocols will remain in place. Without enforcing the protocols, there is a 75% chance of reinfection, which can drop to 5% if one takes the protocols seriously and adheres to them as closely as possible.

Knowledge is power; the more you know about fungi, the less likely it is to return.

A spray for everything

After a successful treatment of the fungal nails, we want to ensure that they do not return. Therefore, we are switching to FungiClear, an antifungal spray that we use to prevent fungal spores from developing into new fungi.

For your convenience, we have chosen a product that you can use on your nails, feet, and in your shoes. A bottle for everything, which is also easy to take on holiday, as the contents are under 100ml, it can also be taken on the plane.

After entering a risk area

The nails are now free from fungus and we would like to keep it that way. Are you going to a risk area where fungal spores are present? Think of places like the sports club, sauna, swimming pool, hotel shower, and other public spaces where you have no control over the cleaning policy. Then we will protect the feet against the existing fungal spores. Before putting on your shoes, make sure to dry your feet thoroughly and spray them with the spray. After that, put on clean socks and only then your shoes. This is all you can do to give the fungal spores as little chance as possible to develop into a fungus, which could once again infect your nail and foot.

People who follow the programme with TipToe products can first complete Protect Your Feet.

Because the nails are healthy again, we no longer need to spray daily; we do not treat what is healthy.

01

Make sure to dry your feet thoroughly after showering.

02

Spray the nails of both feet.

Treatment of the shoes

The biggest source of contamination in your own environment is the shoes, which is why we continue to treat them. This no longer needs to be done daily but twice a week for the most frequently worn shoes. If possible, let the shoes rest for 24 hours afterwards so they can dry. Shoes that you will not be wearing for a long time should also be sprayed before you store them, such as ski boots, rollerblades, garden boots, etc.

The protocols for trying on shoes in the shop remain in place.

People who follow the programme with TipToe products can first complete Clean Your Shoes.

Are you going bowling or participating in another sport where you need to wear shoes that aren't yours? Then use a plastic sock as protection.

01

Spray the most used shoes twice a week, as soon as you take them off.

02

Leave the shoes to rest for 24 hours and use different shoes the next day.
